Name calling is always offensive, you know that as well as anyone. The question should be why are you engaging in name calling and why do you expect constructive debate in return when you do?

Your last question asked why people aren't backing up their accusations with documents, facts etc. So what about it? It sounds like you would like to debate substantive issues so why not do it? We could all benefit from a little less name calling and a little more substance. The Bible teaches us we reap what we sow. You can't walk through a corn field looking for cotton my man, don't call people names and expect intelligent debate in return.

A smart person said recently (I admit I'm paraphrasing here) if you want intelligent debate don't act like Ann Coulter and if someone responds to you like Al Sharpton, that's their problem, not yours.

I could care less whether the government is run by democrats or republicans.

I only want responsible fiscal policy and less government; both parties have failed both of these tests over the last 4 administrations.

Congress is for sale, both democrats and republicans. Furthermore, our congressmen/congresswomen lack the backbone to challenge the executive branch anymore.

Our system of government, which I love and respect, is not functioning as intended. This saddens me.
