why is it usually okay (like how you see it all the time on tv) for women to slap men but not vice versa?

if on tv (or in real life) you saw a man slap a woman that would be automatically wrong no matter the situation, so why does it seem to be perfectly fine with everyone if women hit men... physical violence is no answer or solution for either gender.

i don't care if one person cheated, hitting isn't the answer, just get a divorce if you can't be faithful. its just as wrong for girls to hit guys as it is for guys to hit girls.

It's like you said. Hollywood has made it so that society thinks a man hitting a woman is abuse, but a woman hitting a man is a form of "self defense."

Never thought about it, but actually I was watching a TV show last night and a woman hit a man. Humm -- you have a point.

because men are one-track minded. if you hit them they may start to think about something else. but women think before they act and don't need to be hit before they can think about something else.
