Sounds like the box, to be honest. If it was the LMB (attached to the dish) it would only come up with a message saying no signal being recieved.
I'd take your box back to where ever you got it from assuming it is still under warranty and you still have a reciept. If it was free from Sky then they should replace it.
If it is old then a installation guy told me that on average the boxes only last about a year or two if kept on constantly and therefor to kept it on standby or off when not used. I've had mine for about 5 years now and no probs!!!
Hope all that is helpful!

If it's a green picture then it's ure scart lead at the back connecting the sky box to the tv. either u need to push it in or u need to replace it.
If you phone sky then u are entitled to a credit for the days you ve had no viewing, just give them a phone and report the problem, if you need an engineer then ull get credit from the day u report it until the day before the issue was resolved

Testimonials and invites arent operating. I had that remark difficulty - its a glitch besides the undeniable fact that it doesnt get looked after because they don't look sorting complications on 360 anymore...they're concentrating on the substitute over... I had to commence a clean web page to get comments back. (from time to time it is going to likely be operating for some hours in an afternoon- yet they could be at the same time as youre on dont they?)

Try doing a full reset. Switch off by the remote. PULL power plug OUT (not just a switch off job!!!) Wait one minute. Replace plug and switch on mains. On remote: Press "TV". Wait ten seconds minimum, then press "SKY". Wait one minute, then press power-up on remote. You should now get P998/9. If you do, it's all yours. If you don't, leave home or get onto Sky, because either way, you're in trouble ! ! !

We had this a few weeks ago with our sky plus. You need to call Sky who will take you through the steps to re-set the box, if you have sky plus this will wipe off all your recorded programmes.

You should contact your sky supplier, this happens alot with sky, it might be fine later, although you may have something wrong with your box. go to http://www.sky.co.uk
and they should have some answers for you. Good luck xx

i don't trust satellite tv ...i mean if anything DOES go wrong you are STILL paying for it and it ain't cheap.
But you really oughta go to the local dixons comet etc and ask the experts there.... that's their job after all!
bet you won't get a refund for the time you missed tho!
