I do not mean to be controversial, but I feel perhaps Paul was so lonely he ignored kind warnings about this woman when he was at his most vulnerable. Surely, "when I'm 64" means peace man!!

I think the way she's lied to him about such a sordid past has to have crushed him.
Maybe if she would have been upfront from the get-go he might not have entered into anything with her and saved himself a lot of heartache.
I go by a general rule in life: there are 3 things in life you just don't tamper with...... children, dogs, and The Beatles!
She doesn't deserve a single penny of his well earned fortune,
she should just accept that it's over, get a job like any self respecting woman would or, more than likely, cling onto the next lonely old arm she finds
and leave one of the most loved British Icons alone!

I'm sorry, but all these old, rich men marry these young, beautiful things, and the same thing happens to all of them; the wives leave with half of their husbands fortune. And I'm not just saying women do it, because men do it too i.e K-Fed. So many times this happened, and these men MUST know why these women want to marry them, the same reason why someone goes and shags some random famous person to sell the story in a newspaper, and get money for it.
Also, half of the answers on here should be null, because you've all got your information from crappy tabloids, and trashy, glossy mags, get your facts straight before you judge other people. So what if she did that stuff, she got paid for it didn't she? Hasn't she suffered enough?
I think they are both in the wrong. Paul should have been smart enough to realise why she was with him, because he isn't really a looker anymore is he? Anyway, it's none of our business what goes on in other people's lives.
Also, why is it that the newspapers always victimise the women, like Rebecca Loos, David Beckham came out unscathed, and he's the one that is married for christs sake, he should have realised that his family is more important than some stupid shag.
I think a lot of the girls on here are just jealous they aren't getting all that money.

Yes, she seems to presume she's talented at the same level as Paul, an equal to him as a celebrity and as a contributor to the culture.
I'd like to know the dirt -- the cause for the divorce. Maybe someone will spare me some tabloid reading and repeat some of the theories.
An answerer above says they are a former journalist and we should be careful what we write -- it could be libel? This is not the case in the US -- she's a public figure, and you have to go pretty darn far to libel a public figure. UK laws may be different, but if so, how would tabloids survive there?

Absolutely. I'm not McCartney fan, but everyone must be able to see how she used him and gets a hugh pay off! Gold digger is too polite a name, but sadly they do have a child and mud slinging between them will need to reflect this.

i am not sure weather or not heather is a good person however i do agree paul made a mistake - if you alianate your children then that is a sure sign it wont last because no matter what you children come first there was no way heathre could compete with that for long

Ive never like Heather and I think shes a cheeky ***** if shes gonna take £200million of him she does not deserve it, he has work hard for that money and she has done nothing! absolutly. and she is not entitled to half his fortune. gold digger of the nastiest kind. i dont believe paulie didnt know of her past, but she has turned out to be a right cow. a few quid is all she should get. well i suppose a few million which wont put a dent in pauls pocket but no way should she get half.

if she is trying to claim half his fortune then she is a money grabbing tramp. paul mcartney made his fortune by being one half of a genuis song writing duo and he deserves his money. if heather mills wants 10 million then i think she should get it. the only people to get his fortune should be his kids nobody else.

noi dont thik she is, the press hate her and thats it the woman never gets any credit for what she has done, and dont forget the poor child afterall she's her mother.he should never be allowed to keep all that money anyway when theres starvatioin the world.

She may not be a lady and may not deserve half his money, but Paul McCartney is just as responsible as her for the disaster their marriage is.
He would have been better to have waited for longer before marrying again.
Don't you think it just shows just how needy he is/was/may be.
