Unless you are a paraniod , fearing someone will now what you are doing, cookies are for your good.
They will help you many way, from customized settings to remebering your user name or password, all this are done by cookie.

Some cookies are needed for certain programs.
The only two I allow to stay, are AtlasDMT and DoubleClick.
All others I delete.

Yes, it is advisable to delete all. Even if those are not harmful, still they consume few resources, so why to keep them and lose the resources/ speed/ space.
