i live in glasgow and because of workload and kids i dont get out that often to meet new people, male or female. anyone out there available to chat as friends x

Be careful what you ask for - I wouldnt recommend just being fickle and contacting people randomly - there are a lot of weirdos out there - why not join a social club that you can bring your kids with you to - there are always plenty of people in the same situation as you - contact your local social club/town information office - they'll tell you.
Alternatively - why not organise a babysitter one night a week and go to a social club such as dancing classes/bingo/whatever youre into -you'll meet people your own age FROM your area.
Just be careful though - loneliness can make you do silly things for company - dont slip throught the net

I agree that you can meet up with other people through your kids...a community centre or something.

i think you should use a little time to talk or to chat to anyone that wants to make friend. i'm a vietnamese female and i'm so lonely, not got married and no child. so you arenot as lonely as me.
