Saying goodbye to someone, especially if you have know them for a long time or really like or love them, such as a friend, is always hard. I hate saying goodbye. I had to do it so many times in my life because my parents moved around a lot when I was younger. Now I live in Germany, going on six years and it is the best feeling ever because I have never been anywhere this long. My friends mean the world to me, but I have to leave in 2008 to go to college in the States. I don't know how I am going to do it. The thing is that we have to make changes in our lives and learn to cope with them if we want to or not. That is the way life is. I suggest that you cherish the time that you have left. Make them feel what you feel and tell them how you feel, whether love or not. They will understand and probably feel the same way. Just cherish the time and when the time comes, you will be ready to face it. Just "say see you soon" or "take care of yourself", even if that might not be. Saying goodbye for good is like cutting yourself. All the best of luck!!!

Is your friend leaving or have they passed on. If leaving tell them how much you have enjoyed their friendship an no matter how far the distance you will always be there. If they have passed on or termilly ill just be their for them you can still let it known how you feel. Saying goodbye is final so if they are moving states just say take care miss you see you when ever. Buy a little gift give as a token off your friendship.

Before saying goodbye, let there be an understanding between you both, so you don't ur friend. Let him/her know you just have to say goodbye and appreciate him/her by making reference to the good times you both sheared.

I can't say "goodbye" to a friend. I can't even see them off at the airport. I'd rather tell them "I'll see you later," and a hug or a wave and that's it. I don't like to think it's the "end" but that I'll see them again someday.

there is diffrente ways to say goodbye.some people shake hands some people give hug to each other some people just say bye....if your're leaving from your mother you give hug...if you leaving from your boss you shake hands ... like that .. .
