Check first for any tears or worn areas. If in good condition wash on gentle cycle in cold water with detergent of choice. It can be hung outdoors for drying but this will not fluff the feathers. You can also place in the dryer with a clean pair of tennis shoes to fluff the feathers. Maybe partially dry to fluff and then hang outdoors to dry.

The best solution is to remove the old feathers, wash the cover and then put new feathers back in it. Good luck!
