I have dreams occasionally about being in a high school at night, one that I have never attended. I am not in high school but I am 32 years old in real life. In the high school, I have a class schedule and I either don't know where the class is, or I am very late or lost.
All the hallways are dark and my grade will plummet if I don't show up to class. I will be walking around lost for a long time not knowing where the class is. What does this symbolize?

High school = higher education, youth
late, lost in high school = looking for direction in life

This dream probably implies that you are seeking for something that you have not fulfilled in high school. If you have recurring dream like this, it could be something you have not said or done in high school, perhaps, to the crush or to the teacher. You want to go back and find that something you are missing in high school. It can also be the grade result you are looking for. However, this seems like some missing in your life. Subconsciously you think you will find it in your school. You may seem to search for direction in life. You project back to school to tell you that you may want to start it over and make things right once again.

In conclusion, you are seeking for some sort of contentment in life. To you, the only place you can find it is from your youth and High school may be the place you want to get back and start it over.

I could be wrong, but that is how I see from your dream

Gee, I wish I knew. I have the same dream only it is at a college where I can never find the classroom and where I wander the halls and campus trying to find it. Even when I ask at the office, they give me directions I can not follow, and I cannot find the room. Sometimes I do (rarely) but then I am always very late and the class is adjourning just as I get there. Scary. I know this does not answer your question, but I just thought you might like to know others have similar dreams.

You feel insecure about your personal development. "Am I turning into a couch potato?" Something like that. You are questioning your personal value.

You definitely feel like you should be doing something to make you feel valuable but still have no clue what this should be.
