My brother in law is going through something like this right now. He even had a weapon (although used it only on tires). His attorney thinks he can get him off completely, mostly because it's his first "run in" with the law.

The judge can impose any sentence within the boundaries of the law which may well be different from state to state. Consult an attorney in your state for correct information.

Good luck!!

Depends on how good of a lawyer you have and how many character witnesses vouch for you being a person that would only resort to such tactics under extreme duress.

Most likely could go to pre-trial diversion and be on probation, do community service and be on probation for two years.

No good answer. It could be anything from probation, to community service, 2 days in jail, etc. Just depends on the laws in your town and also what kind of day the judge is having. Seriously.

In my opinion you are lucky that you can get out quick because, you do not have a record and it depends on how much your lawyer's fee cost because, only the best can get you out and only your attorney can give you more info than me but do not give up and fight hard.Good luck

Probably probation, court cost, fines and pay restitution to the victim for medical bills and time missed from work.
