i have a fw friends who use HP laptops, usually with 512mb or 1gig ram and a 80-120 gig hrd drive. usually they have an intel pentium m 2.0ghz. most of the others have a toshiba satellite with the same specs. only 2 exceptions to this rule. one friend has an alienware aurora m7700 which runs off of desktop processors and videocards and totally smokes all the competition hen it comes to speed and features. it has a built in webcam above the screen, and other things like that. its even got 2 cd drives. it goes faster than a lot of desktops. friend #2 has a dell XPS which is basically liek thae alienware but a little toned down. its got a core duo processor 2.2 ghz and a 7800gt video card. it runs very nicely and is actually portable... unlike the alienware.
