Honestly, don't go by brand. Go by fit. Even the most expensive off-the-rack suit that's altered to fit you won't look right if the fit is not perfect. We have a friend who is a clothes horse now, and has been his whole life. He buys ungodly expensive designer suits, and they rarely fit him correctly, even with extensive alterations. And he is very well-proportioned, almost like a male model!
Go to a place like Men's Wearhouse where you can spend a lot of time trying stuff on. Take a friend with you, one who is able to be brutally honest, and take your time picking out what looks best on you. Don't worry about the label, or the size tags, as people tend to get hung up on those and buy big-ticket clothing items like suits that don't look right or are too trendy to last more than a season or two.
And by the way, I like the look of a Brooks Brother's suit better than a Zegna. I don't like the noticeable topstiching on a Zegna--I know some people say it makes it look custom made, but to me it just looks bad. If you want a suit that looks custom made, save your pennies and get a real one in the future, and go for Brooks Brothers now.
Also, please do not let them talk you into something that's very "in" right now, unless you intend to buy a new suit every year. Even slight changes like the width of lapels and the types of buttons can make a suit look dated before you've worn it a dozen times. Go with something completely classic, and leave the shirts and ties you choose as your arena for being trendy.

Brooks brothers is my favorite brand of suit. It is a good quality and a reasonable price. The most important thing however is to buy a suit that fits. You can have the best suit in the world but if it is ill fitting you'll look like a bum. Go to a shop where they will measure you and help you find a good fit, not just try to sell you whatever they have on the rack.
And don't forget to get a nice pair of dress shoes to go with it.
Good luck and enjoy.

i ought to point: -tremendous shoes or gentle strolling shoes -darkish to very darkish (black, yet blue is easier) bootcut jeans, (be particular you try numerous pairs, have someone help you contained in the shop in case you want), -t blouse with some variety of effortless image (no longer too loud) -blazer jacket. imagine....residing house from television. (i comprehend he's older yet he clothing properly and that is warm) that is casual/stylish, maximum adult men can pull this seem off properly, it is person-friendly, and that is gentle besides! earrings are ok, do purely not overdo it (no longer some thing that seems particularly heavy). Scarves are good if you're outdoors contained in the chilly, do not do it as only a way component. And in case you button up the blouse go a touch more effective than halfway yet no longer each and every of ways. perhaps go away the first 2 undone.
