my period is very heavy and thats unusual. i could smell the copper smell like you can with a deep cut. i have abdominal pain and thats never happened to me before.is it a miscarriage or is my body just acting out?

It is still possible to bleed while being pregnant. Have you taken a test darlin? That copper smell is just the iron in your blood, that's totally normal. Abdominal pain is cramps. Was your period late? Otherwise I might not worry about it. You could go to a free clinic like Tri-county, if you wanted. It's confidential and if you can't afford it they just ask if you can donate anything.

well speaking from experience it could be a miscarriage, but there is no way to be totally sure. all i can tell you is that hurts like hell and there is normally some blood clots

You need to be seen by your doctor and maybe hospital, like today. You may well be having a big bleed and that needs to be sorted.

i would get to the Dr's if really heavy and clots when i say heavy you have to change you pad all the time
