Well, the best thing you can do for her is to tell someone about it and get her professional help IMMEDIATELY before anyone gets hurt. She will feel betrayed in the beginning but as soon as she starts to "heal" she will see that you had only her best interests at heart and you will be her life-long friend always. So if you really want to help her - go and get her professional help NOW! Best of luck amigo and let me know how it goes.

Think you're getting consistent advice here.
Yes, you should get her help. The question here should be what kind... Should you help her overtly or covertly.

Some suggestions could be to participate with her in a live forum dealing with these issues. Not necessarily in depth or professionally... get her accustomed to the idea that there's an alternative to these emotions she feels.

At some stage though, she probably really needs professional 1on1 help.

Yes by all means help her!! She's your friend and she need someone to step up. My opinion is it would be better if she felt a little betrayed, and was still alive. As apposed to not saying anything and finding out she killed herself. Step up before it's too late. Maybe let her know you do what you do cause you care what happens to her. Good luck!!!!

Your friend really does need help and probably medication as well. It is not going to be easy but gently persuade her to see a professional to get her condition assessed.
