this really might appear queer but is the centre of all the drama in my life just now. i have this best friend of 8 years and last week he proposed me. you would say that's romantic but what i don't understand is that how could he be into me when we are exact opposites. he's 6'3'' and a hunk and i'm 5'3'' and a plain jane. i do agree that we do share a great level of comfort and can confide in each other. to be honest it's an offer too good to resist but i really wanna know why me when he could practically be with any girl he wants to.

Girl, looks isn't everything. Maybe he was won over by your personality? Maybe he has been in love with you all along and didn't know how to tell you. If you feel the same way and you think he is being sincere, then go for it. Or you could also ask him why? Do you think he is trying to get something out of you? I hate to be pessimistic, but some guys are dogs.

Maybe he sees something he likes about you and feels that you are the right woman for him and you are the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with if you love him and feel the way he does then go for it cause even plain janes deserve someone to love and someone who loves them in return

Because he doesn't want any other girl. He wants you. He is comfortable with you and you obviously get along really well. Don't be too quick to accept. If things go badly, are you willing to risk your friendship?
