My family and I are flying out of the UK early next week. I have checked with the airline and the current advice is give yourself an additional hour ontop of the check in time and make sure you adhere to all the new regulations regarding hand luggage. We have been advised to get a clear travel wallet to put in travel docs, money, credit cards. Nothing else is allowed apart from glasses (no case) and sanitary ware (no box). We are travelling with small children, no toys, sweets, drinks, books etc. which will be very difficult but worth it for all the extra security. Have a lovely holiday.

Yes, probably, but expect extra security and delays in regard to recent events. Don't take any liquids or gels( shampoo, contact lens cleaner etc) in your carry on baggage. They have been banned at London airports. I'm not sure what else is forbidden now because the news of the terrorist attempt is still unfolding.

Don't let terrorists scare you out of living your life.
The airports will be open and operating, just give yourself plenty of time and read up on the restrictions for luggage.

if you start flying today, there is a chance you will still be flying on monday.
my friend tried to fly to egypt, but after 2 days his arms started to hurt, and he gave up.
