In Singapore, the most grand public holiday is the lunar new year., there is no denying. The National Day is not up to the mark yet, maybe ten or more years to come then you can have an extra day off.

Yupz! I agree with u! Only 1 day public holiday for national day, it is too mean lol..
In China, people enjoy 1 weeks of holiday for the celebration of national day! So compare, how to compare!
I say at least should give at least 2 more days of public holiday - 1 day before and after the actural national day

If "morning after the night before" is the reason, then almost every other day should be declared a public holiday.

I loved living in Singapore
We celebrated every ones
holiday.
TheChinese,American,Brits,Aussies,Malaysian,
Hindu,and all the others I didn't mention.
