by asking her .... and to believe in her answer ... because you can NEVER know by just looking at her. En plus, it depends on which standards she takes and which standard you take.

In some parts of the world, rules dictate that you're not a virgin anymore once a guy has fingered you and broke your hymen - or just fingered you. In some parts of the world girls accept anal sex not to break their hymen and in that manner can keep their "virginity". I think virginity meens something completely different, something that has nothing to do with rules or physical bodyparts that break or don't break.

I considered myself a virgin until I had my first sexual intercourse with a guy (penetration) but my hymen was probably already broken beforehand (because there was no blood with my first time). So, technically I wasn't a virgin but for me (and everyone around me in my country) it is and was the intercourse that matters, not what physically happened beforehand - that would make the whole concept of virginity ridiculous. The concept ? Something happens with a girl once she had intercourse: for the first time she grows up, feels like a women, she starts to experience the world in a new way. And that is what matters ! I can tell !! It's a psychological boundary you cross ("break") - it's growing up from girl to a women - and gymnastics will not give you that, nor the fact if you know or don't know that your hymen is already broken, nor if somebody else dictates you "the truth" about your virginity ...

for me that's what matters. Of course I also grew up with a certain standard ... but this one really felt right.

Who cares?

If it means that much to you to have a virgin, ask her. If she says she is, fine, if she says she's not, great!

I personally could care less. If a girl happens to be a virgin, that just means (due to my own moral standards) that I have to take things alot slower, make sure she's ready (and isn't going to regret losing her virginity to me) and be a lot more careful if I get involved in a sexual situation with her.

If you are any kind of a decent guy, virgins are a lot of work, and shouldn't be taken advantage of. Her first time should be memorable for all the right reasons, and should be all about her, you have to completely ignore your personal desires and issues, and concentrate on making things as good for her as possible.

If she won't tell you if she is or not, and you're not able to tell, you're probably not sexually experienced enough to be worried about it anyway, unless you see virginity as a way of avoiding STD's, in which case, wrap it up anyway, buddy.

well, you cannot really tell if a girl is virgin or not by simply knowing if her hymen is still intact or not?! some women damage their hymen during their childhood in some activities like riding a bicycle, and doing gymnastics..better ask the girl..another thing is why should virginity be an issue?

1. While you are having sex with her' You find out that she does things you never heard of. 2 Having sex with her is like doing push ups over a manhole.3 She takes talking dirty to a whole new dimension. Is that enough.

if her hymen is intact she is a virgin. if not probably not, exceptions being women who exercise in extremely vigorous physical activity, such as professional gymnasts. but does it matter?
