ethiopia or somalia.......not only africans but many people are starving to death as v speak........god bless them all

Niger is the poorest African country. There are a number of rankings based on different indicators, but the UN's Human Development Index is the most used these days. Instead of talking about how 'poor' a country is, its more to do with quality of life: the index is made up of life expectancy, literacy, education enrolment etc. So, this year:
1. Niger. People are actually dying of hunger here, its a recurrent drought/crop failure/plant nothing the next year problem
2. Sierra Leone
3. Burkina Faso
4. Mali
5. Chad
6. Guinea Bissau
I dont think there is regular starvation in the other countries. I just came back from Guinea Bissau, definately no critical hunger.
Famine is an extreme event which cameras arrive to film, giving people the impression that Africans starve all the time. Its not like that, and theres more to living in the misery of poverty than that.

There are very rich areas in Africa, like on the west side there are diamonds in the sand of the beaches. The east side of Africa, Ethiopia is full of diseases such as aids. The children are left alone full of hunger, parents die of aids. Something needs to be done, but, if there isn't any oil there, I do not think there will be much interest for any help to come any time soon for them. The UN needs to be addressing this issue, but they now are busy with Lebanon and Israel.

yes many people all over the world are dying of hunger
Many others are throwing food away and consuming everything as if there is an infinite well of shite just for them
