"The U.S. national average purchase price for a single-family home reached $264,540 in October 2004."

It then went up some then back down, so probably close to that now again.

The States is a big place mate, I'm usre there's a national average, but it won't mean a thing.

Average house around DC :
4 bedrooms, less then 10 years old, 2,000 square feet, garage, about $500,000 - ballpark.

Average house around Colorado Springs, Colorado :
Same as above, $310, 000

i do no longer go with to be impolite, yet once you won't be ready to arise with the money for a 2nd living house on your guy or woman usa, what makes you think of you could arise with the money for one in yet another usa? no longer even to point the expenses of vacationing between 2 international locations and the upkeep expenses on the valuables. Why does absolutely everyone constantly think of South Africa is a low priced place. the cost of residing is severe in SA and properties are high priced. you could anticipate to pay over R1 million for a classic 3 mattress room living house in an honest suburb.

Average cost varies by city... for instance if you were in da South, say Birmingham, AL, you could get a 5 bedroom 3 bath house for around $180,000. but if you were in Reno, NV, a 1 bdroom condo starts at around $279,000... it just varies on what city you are located in.

When buying a house does'nt matter were you have to look at a lot of thing that may inpact the price, nl area, size, tipe of materials house is built of, etc......

All of this will have a BIG impact on the price of house.
