I have read them all and Memnoch is the only one I had trouble with, very hard to follow. The only book of her that I have not yet read is the Christ one. Read the next one and do not worry about Memnoch, not as important or as good as the others. The Witches of Mayfair series by her is quite good as well.

Read the first five. Loved Interview and Lestat (neat to see two sides of the same story), and Queen was pretty cool. I thought Tale was just silly but Memnoch was ok, though not really a vampire book. I'll read the other five eventually I figure, Lestat is a good character, well drawn and dynamic--he changes, and he thinks, one cares about him. The Witching Hour was good as well, very rich. I guess the witches and the vampires link up in the subsequent novels.

The Vampire Diaries sequence is basically like the Twilight sequence (some even say that Stephenie Meyer has stolen stuff from VD's, distinctly countless the characters). LJ Smith wrote 5 books and has 2 greater popping out next year and the year after.

I've gotten about halfway into Interview, and its pretty good. Funny thing though, I did a research paper on Anne Rice back in High School, and I had never even read one page of hers. Now I'm realizing why she got so much credit from critics :).

I've read all of Anne Rice's works. I like Pandora and Queen of the Damned the best. I think she's a really good writer.

Yep, they're good. It's not a vampire book, but her book "Cry to Heaven" is good as well.
