my TV doesn't have a svideo in so will this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5785120539&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 work instead, also I’ve just noticed that the socket on my graphics card is only marked video not svideo and has extra holes for pins(7 compared to 4 on a svideo) does that mean it isn't the same as a svideo and that I can't connect it to my TV but if I can still connect it to my to would this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5841680065&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 lead work or should I have to find a different lead, also if I can connect my pc to my TV am I likely to damage my TV if my settings are too high(screen resolution and refresh rate), thanks in advance

It sounds like you need an RF/S-video modulator. I think you can use one to convert from S-video to connect to an older TV. Here's one on NewEgg.com:

Good luck!

i could think of it may, because of the fact they might't have run with the aid of each and every photos card on the industry and checked which of them in positive condition, i could think of that it may run it on lowest settings, yet you will desire to verify the backside gadget standards for a instruction, no longer this "supported photos card" record EDIT: yeah, the backside gadget standards says 128mb photos card with help for pixel shader, so definite, it would run, yet once you have doubts, you may consistently get the unfastened trial to attempt it first...
