If you're talking team handball:
Throw the ball in the net, if he stops it throw it harder and eventually he will get the message to get out of the way. That's how I played it in gym class. I had 16 goals in 20 minutes of class, that included two injuries, which I caused, now if they only followed my rules no one would have been hurt.
Cup the ball in between your fingertips and wrist and wind up and let er rip. Make them think you are playing dodge ball.

handball is the largest indoor sport in northern europe
like 6 on 6 indoor waterpolo with nets and goalkeeper...longer than a basketball gym
players allowed to dribble and take three steps.. allowed to hold and stop for common fouls.. all other rules are like soccer
