Basically, most terrorists are Islamic fundamentalists and heads of (mostly Western) states and their staff who would do everything against countries they don't care about, in order to "earn love" from Islamic fundamentalists. But Yes, there are other terrorists, and there are a few reasons for people becoming terrorists.

Ultimately it traces back to hatre ,greed and ignorance ,and its a vicious cycle in life to repeat that cycle .The Middle conflict did not start from yesterday ,till one day people awaken and realise that hatre cannot appears hatre ,only than you can see peace ,even peace superficially reached by signing treaties or enforced by UN one way or another ,inner peace within is not realised ,there is no guarantee that wars and conflicts would not renewed .
Peace or war is within human mind and heart and starts from there ,can you feel peace in your heart ?
