You need to have their insanely expensive software to change files. Like Acrobat Professional: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/
$449 is too expensive for me. If you can get your hands on an original copy of the document in another format, you can change it and convert it to PDF with one of the many free PDF creators. I think OpenOffice is one such application (it's also a handy replacement for MS Word in many cases). Good luck!

Edit: No, I don't know how you can change the font. I've only used it a little once, and then it was an older version than what you're using. Good luck!

the problem is you're scanning it in incorrect. I wager you in hardship-free words pushed experiment on the scanner and also you had someway set the default to make PDF files. so as it is precisely what you receive. you want to open Paint application of a few variety, do "receive" from interior, then it ought to ward off the proper result as a photo report jointly with JPEG.

Use the full version of Acrobat, not just the free acrobat reader.. or you can import it into Illustrator and make changes there.
