There is a ship in friendship.
It is made out of a materials that are pretty hard to find these days.
There are the boards of trust and the nails of honesty. The sails are made from the tapestries of our lives. The compass always points to the truth. The waters of life are not always smooth and gentle.
The ship can make it through the worst of storms.
All who sail upon this ship are on a voyage that can last a lifetime.

I believe its a metaphore - cause a real friend can battle the seas oceans storms and will sail thru the rough patches with you not just the smooth......it will not sink in the mean time but will keep fighting.......always having a life boat for wen you need it and for you to know its there for if and when its needed.

Its because a friend protects you from all storms and ice-bergs of life. Moreover, the journey of life becomes sweeter when you sail through it with your friend, hence it is friendSHIP....
