The british home secretary has said the security situation in the UK is as severe as World War 2 - SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. Just imagine if they had pulled this off. This country would be at war with all Moslems

For three decades England was attacked by terrorist who happened to be Catholic, should we have banned Catholics?
The IRA were wrong just as the extremist Muslims are now. But you cannot condemn a whole religion because a few nutters think that they are right and everyone else is wrong - and will do anything to prove their point. Islam is a peaceful religion - so is Christianity - the terrorists do not follow Islam any more than the IRA or Loyalists followed Christianity.

This did cross my mind on my way into town this morning. I'm afraid we have to close our borders to any countries harbouring hostility towards the UK. The Moslem police officer who said that the police using stop and search tactics on Moslems is creating a rift is talking bollocks. Good, sensible Moslems would realise that we are in a serious situation when it comes to national security and therefore should not mind being stopped on sus. They should inform on their 'fellow' 'Moslems' just as we would have informed on The Revs Jimmy Jones or David Koresh before their outrages. These 'Moslems' have bombed Egypt and Indonesia as well!

OK so you're not going to be that extreme. There will be no banning of muslims from flights. There will be no mass deportations.
But, within 7 to 10 days, the liberals will have forgotten and they will scream bloody murder if the govt wants to conduct wire taps or be able to access phone records, etc.
All I can say is don't allow the liberals to tie the hands of your law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

It's an old plot that was also foiled about 1995 for flights between the Philippines and the USA. As of right now, you can't take any containers with liquid or lotions on board planes. Scary stuff.
No I don't think all Muslims should be banned from flights just because of what a few extremists want to do.

Absolutely, that should have happened after 9/11. But some politicians want to be sensitive andnot offend anyone. They need to let the CIA, FBI, and military do the jobs they are trained for.

Wat does it prove if them dudes did get on a plane+blow it up...that they got on a plane+were able2blow them+about 170 other people(including children)up.If their found with explosives on them,no jail term.Just shoot the bastards!.

I think one answer would be to make them take separate flights.
It would make it easier for Muslims to have halal food on the plane too. What a bonus.
