not especially. initially it's incredibly sex oriented. when you finally get to the gore, it becomes...well...extremely gory. again. not particularly scary. there are a few interesting moments when the true plot reveals itself, but other than that ...
for what it's worth the same guy involved with cabin fever is also involved with this film.

No.It's really gross.If you have a weak stomach avoid it.But if you are a traveler who gets a little wild use it as a cautionary tale of what not to do while in a third world Eastern European country.

Dude it's kick *** gory-based on a true story-scary if that's what you mean. When you see it there's a part with an eye ball.....that's all i'm gonna say!! I still can't that image out of my mind!!!

I didnt find it scary at all, more gruesome, lots of blood and torture etc, but not scary the way wolf creek or saw were

not sure cos I havent seen it. I am a huge Tarintino fan but I opted not to see this one...I just think it looks like he's finally gone too far (just saw the pre-clip). I don't want to watch something that seems that disturbing and gross.

It's so bad it's not even worth your time.Take a nap, go for a walk . Anything else is better with your time.

I have it on dvd..the plot kinda sucks but it is very sick and twisted..alot of blood..and gore.
