Do you mean England?.....London is a place in England......the Trafalgar District is a good place.

Depends where you work. If you work in the west end of the city, Notting Hill is nice. If you're in the east side of the city, Islington is nice. The East End is generally overlooked but is there is a lot of development and it's getting much nicer (eg places like St Katherine Docks, Wapping) plus is walking distance to the business end of the city.
