i know i'm black and mixed with something else... but i don't know because i don't live with my real family... there gone.
and i was thinking maybe if i found were the name gillespie came from, than i would maybe get a clue.

Probably French. However, a surname is not necessarily an indicator of ethnic origin. Some people marry into a name, others may have changed their name legally, etc. If you can find any extended relatives (uncles, cousins, etc.), they might be able to help you.

There was a teacher in my school, Mr. Gillespie and he was black. I don't know if that helps you or not.
