even though your an adult, you will always be your parent's child... i am sure they dont mean to treat you that way, but they probably still see you as pretty green around the ears as far as grown up goes... my daughter has a child too, and she lives on her own... but she's still my child and i worry just as much about her now as i did when she was young and still lived with me.. i go nuts if i dont hear from her every couple of days.... so she still has to "check-in" so to speak... just so i know she is ok...
when your child grows up you will be the same way....
at least you know your loved... :)

ditto, thats how i felt before.. not anymore though, its because they dont want to let you go and realise your grown up, my parents divorced when i was 12 and im nearly 22, he treats me as how old i was when he left

it is on the same pretense as beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, they will always remember you the way you were and not as you are! you changed so slow in front of them that no change was noticed, it is like living in a house with someone who is losing weight you never notice but outsiders do!
