I'm not an illegal supporter, but some of those unlicensed laborers do good work. And one thing that encourages their work is that when a homeowner tries to get bids to do a small house remodeling job, traditional businesses often don't want the small jobs. They want to remodel a whole house, or two rooms or a bath a kitchen or a whole kitchen, not just a countertop or a floor, so I sometimes think that local business practices encourage the unlicensed and illegals to fill those niches. I now people who have hired illegal labor and continue to do so, not just because of lower fees, but because they also deliver a good product. Risky yes, but enough that people will take a chance.

You should first hire someone to help you learn how to spell "renovate" and understand the rules for using capital letters (proper names, pronouns, beginning of sentences, etc.)
'house' doesn't need a capital 'H' at the end of your sentence.
And if you do hire any laborers, be sure to pay income taxes, Social Security, Medicare, etc. on their wages. Otherwise, the IRS might become your best friend.
Also, you should take out a worker's compensation insurance policy to protect you from being sued if one of the laborers was injured on your jobsite.
But of course, you are too cheap to pay those extra costs, so if you get sued, you deserve everything the court awards to the injured party.
