Every high school and college you attend will have an official record--usually one or two pages--that lists every course you took and what grade you got in each course the whole time you attended that school. This is usually kept by the Registrar's office or Office of Records.

When you apply to college, the college wants to see your high school transcript. When you apply to graduate school or for some jobs that require degrees, they want to see the transcript of every college or university you ever attended. For me anymore, that's five different colleges and universities, including one I attended for a single summer session. Some of them charge fees for producing a transcript, so it can get expensive.

Universities sometimes have official transcripts with university seals pressed into them that they may not give to you. Instead, they would mail them directly to the university or employer to which you have applied. But you can get an unofficial transcript, which is basically a photocopy.

It's good to keep a list of websites or printouts with instructions for obtaining transcripts for each school you attend. Here's an example:

that are al your records through out your high school year or college years that you have attended ...make sure you call ahead of time for them...but it takes awhile to look of them...and make sure you have all of the transcripts of all the schools you went to... they are your actual grades..they will also come sealed...and will say DONOT OPEN..if you are transporting them ..and also..make sure you keep a record for yourself..so ask for an extra..
