why do women always think there fat even when there not?

Their are two factors that are making us feel this way, and the main one is a girls parents alot of them are very superficial and only care about outward appearances and as a young girl she is always trying to please her parents and when she grows up, she thinks the world will judge her as her parents did. The other factor is celebrities and models, but if parents raise their girls to feel loved and secure no matter what they look like, then all the magazine covers in the world would not make her feel bad about herself.

Negative self-image.
When this thing goes into over-drive it becomes the reason behind eating disorders like anorexia / bulemia.

Almost every woman I know has / thinks this to some extent. I've tried so many way and times to refute their idea with pure fact and sound argument and it makes no difference. I guess it's the same as women with straigh hair wanting curly, women with little boobs want bigger and vice-versa.

I suppose it all comes down to the fact that women are NEVER satisfied. That's just how the world is.

With the weight thing though - I really believe that the media / fashion industry is to blame for promoting the stick-thin image. In my opinion, models should be restricted to those who are of a HEALTHY weight, these crack-whore skinny types should be banned. Fat women are encouraged to slim to a healthy weight, why aren't skinnies encouraged to beef up?

Its all right in front of you. Just check out any fashion magazines or pay attention to the messages sent by the media regarding what a woman is suppose to look like. Have you ever seen those magazines with pics that zoom in on the "cellulite" of a size 2 star? What message is that sending a 13 year old girl? She eventually becomes a woman who always thinks she "looks fat even when she's not".

Because women will allways find that they will never look as slim as what they are supposed to. You see all these slim women in the media and we feel that we have to compare to that as we are led to believe that is what the modern day woman should look like. We are naive to believe it but we feel if we look like them then we have a chance of looking like the modern women!

Because when you slip on your favorite pair of jeans and they fit tighter than usual you feel fat. And there is always someone in better shape than I am and that totally makes me feel huge!

9 times out of 10 this stems from a self esteem problem and is harmless but if they start overeating and then puking then it needs to be dealt with or if they stop eating all together it should be dealt with also but not by you by a physician with the knowledge and education to deal with something like this

Personally I think they want some attention and compliments. I would be thrilled to have some bodies what people have but theyre not happy! You should be happy with whatever figure you have got :) some people don't appreciate it.

because we don't see what u do...you may think wow that chick is beautiful nice curves and etc but we think omg I'm soo fat...i have my moments pretty much all the time
