Yes there are two kids involved and we separated about eight months ago and I came back to him and told him if nothing changes Im leaving again and here I am eight months later finally leaving cuz nothing changed. I have a GED and my last job I was a telemarker and that is the only job I have had in my life. I would prefer some kind of office work.

Rather than guess at what I don't know about the details, I'm assuming you've thought this out and feel it is in the best interests of everyone involved. No one ever really wins in a divorce but sometimes it's the lesser of two evils and you have to move on with your life to keep your sanity and eventually find some happiness.
As for your financial and legal issues, almost all states have a form of legal aid for special circumstances such as these. You can find out about these at your local courthouse since that is where you'll eventually have to file anyway.
Legal aid will pay for either all or a significant portion of your divorce depending on exactly how much money you make. Regarding the attorney they assign to you, from what I've seen in my experiences, they usually give you a pretty good law firm and not just some loser who wants to settle the case and not fight for any rights.
I'd start with your local courthouse and see what type of legal aid they provide. It might be a different name or program depending on where you live but it's there to help out in circumstances just like these. Good luck, hon.

Who asked for the separation? Are there any kids involved? I assume you have a lawyer already. He should answer all of your questions and get you some $$ if he thinks your're entitled to it.
Try to make it as quick and painless a divorce as possible.
Mine was long and drawn out and I think the only one who
benefitted from it was my lawyer.
Good luck. There is a light at the end of a divorce tunnel!

go to the court and file your divorce papers and also file a fee waiver. they have a person at the court house to help you with your questions and also help you fill out the paper work. also go to child support and file, also ask for alimony. go to social service's and ask for public assistance. ask your soon to be ex to help you support the children if he doest it will cost him more if you go on public assistance. Try staying with friends or family or to a shelter that helps women in trouble.
