what was your favorite memory from when you were a child?

Everything simple seemed soooo interesting and so much fun.

Bubbles sparkled, rocks sparkled, even the cement sparkled. Finding animal shapes in the clouds.
Crayons and paste smelled delicious.

I used to have these little tiny cars. The car dealerships used to give them away, I think. Seems like they were teeny weeny Volkswagen Bugs. They were smaller than hot wheels. And they just fit on the mortar between the bricks on our white painted fireplace. The mortar was like little roads. I played for hours running those cars around the fire place and when there was a fire in it, the fire would reflect off the hardwood floors, and it danced.

The glass sliding doors were right beside the fireplace and in the afternoon, the sun would shine thought the doors and warm the floors. I loved to go and lay there, it was a warm and cozy feeling.

Hummm, hadn't thought about those things in years. I feel a little lighter. Great question. Thanks for the memories.

Playing outside and riding my bike and playing with my friends . Having that secure feeling that everything was alright . Summer days that seemed to last forever . Playing with my poodle named GIDGET. I just don't have one favorite memory but many .
