No one makes spelling mistakes, some people are just not acceptive to different alternative spellings. If I choose to spell the word "the" teh that is my perogative and in some situations like say when I'm totally pwning some noob in counterstrike it is considered 1337 and only noobs would use "proper spelling" in such a situation. Society sucks they are always telling us to be more tolerant of different ideas and yet they get all worked up about little things like omg someone misspelled the word people. I go to a university have my teachers talk about tolerance and diversity and how great they are but if I decide to spell color colour or specialize, specialise like they do in England I get marked down. Please I'm just trying to practice what you preach. Don't force your grammer metanarrative on me.

To. It's obviously a very difficult spelling, because lots of people mistake the digit 2 for it.

If it turned right into a criminal offense ninety% of the contributors ought to were out. the interesting is that the persons who like to communicate about the blunders, under no circumstances answer the questions. i wager that their brains are overworked with looking blunders particularly than attempting to respond to the question. They get their 2 factors all an same.

This is impossible to answer. The linguistic butchery so pervasive on these pages indicates to me that system of public education in English speaking countries is woefully inadequate.

Woohoo. Only got one wrong.........accommodation. I forgot a 'm'. Oh on that test thingy.
One thing that bugs me is when someone doesn't know the difference between cents and sense. Oh and when they go and say since, well we wont go there. I'll just keep my public school edumacation to myself. That's my 2 sence.....lamo

It isn't 'peolple' / people, it's definitely 'loose' / lose!!!
(Unless you count things like R, U, Y? gr8, .....etc,!!!)

Using ur instead of you are...... or ppl instead of people
I know they are short cut texts, but would prefer if we were all singing from the same hymn sheet

There are a lot- a lot (not alot).. I think it is all those homonyms that give people the most trouble. (Like there/their/they're; bear/bare; hear/ here; you're/your; fare/fair...)
You got me curious.. I looked it up and found:

And here/hear is a test for you (it's pretty good!) Have fun!:
