To attract older guys that is why. How come you did not already know that ?Teenagers have been diong that for years no one wants to be young anymore they are always in a hurry to grow up.

Because of low self esteem and wanting to look good. When you discover that subtle make up can make you look better, it becomes an addiction. However there are some benefits to this. Foundations usually contain spf 10 plus to protect the skin, and some make up is specially formulated to help cover up and heal acne.It's not all bad.

Yeah it's true they shouldn't wear make-up when they bare very young because so need for thet , that have great eye expressionand a geat skin.. But once they see that make-up makes them look a little different they can't stop... I regret i used make-up when I was too young for that...

No clue, I'm a young lady and I don't wear make-up. I never saw the point.

I don't usually wear it, but when I do, I'm less likely to be told that I look like I'm 5 years younger than I actually am. So I guess if I wear it, it's to make me look my age and be taken seriously by people.

Creating a lovely, natural makeup look is like creating art, and I think a lot of us enjoy being artistic.
Also, it does get addictive. When one has really dark under-eye circles and pale, pale skin like me, a little blush and under-eye concealer makes me look alive and not dead like I did before!

I think it's mostly because when you're younger you still don't have much self confidence and make up gives you just that. It helps you overcome any insecurities and you feel prettier.

at first, like back in 8th grade, to look prettier n thats what high school girls do right? haha....now its just a habbit. but i also like the range of colors i can choose from, its fun!

we may want to accentuate our features ; e.g. making our eyes look bigger and brighter; bringing colour to our faces using blush, hiding imperfections like eyebags and blemishes, drawing perfect eyebrows and plumping lips. it's also fun having so many colours to work with in make up.
