Well first look at why you want the tattoo? Are you doing it because everyone else is doing it or are you doing it because there's some symbolic meaning behind it? If you are sure you want to get one, I'd go to a tattoo artist thats been recommended by word of mouth. Nothing is worse than paying to have someone do it cheapily only to have it come out nothing like you wanted. Also make sure that you go to a place that has sterilized equipment. The last thing you want is to get an STD. And lastly, know that over the years a tattoo may begin to change in color and form, depending on where you put it. No matter what, do NOT put it on your stomach, cause your stomach will most likely expand over the years with metabolism slowing down. If you decide to put it on your back right above your underwear, understand that it will be the most painful area to get a tattoo since a person has the least amount of skin in the back area. I'd recommend getting in an area that is inconspicuous cause more than likely when you do get older, you may end up getting a corporate/professional job that may require you to dress a certain way. Wouldn't it be terrible to have a tattoo on the lower part of your arm only to wear long-sleeved shirts daily in the summer when it's blazing 90-100 degree temperature? Understand that there may come a time when you may also decide that you don't want the tattoo anymore. That you've just grown sick of it or it doesn't have meaning to you anymore. In that case, understand that the removal of a tattoo is not only costly, but can take a few treatments to remove. It may cost you quardruple the price you paid for your tattoo alone. So really give it some thought as to why you want to get a tattoo before you get one and I'm sure that with some thought you'll come up with the right conclusion. Best of luck to you in whatever you decide to do and hopefully my advice has helped in some way ;)

Do think over about having tattoo. How will your parents react towards this issue and will you get regret once you are old? Juz try to imagine whether it will look nice once you get old. That's the most important thing of all. Don't is about other people's opinion. Don't get influence by them. If you want to do it, just do it. But remember once you have done it, don't scratch that area (i mean the tatttoo area) or else, the color in your skin will come off and it will look badly. It may be itchy once in a while but don't scratch it if you want it to look nice. I have one too and I'm not regret about it. I have it on my front left waist. My boyfriend doesn't like it but I did not plan to do anything to get rid it of it. The main reason I want it on my waist is because I won't wear low waist jeans when I get old then and my children won't notice it also. My mom knows and she's cool about it. So think well before you make your decision okay?

don't use kid rock's needle you might get hep c like pamela anderson. You should get the tatoo that only last 3 weeks to see if you really want a tatoo or not. I forgot what these tattoos are caleld. I am glad I did this because after if went away I wanted a different design and I now have my permant tatoo on myself.

Do get a professional that has a good amount of experience and talent to do your tats. Don't get a tat on any part of your body that will eventually stretch or shrink in great amounts, e.i. the stomach or breast.
