is it possible to fix a cloth cover to sofa with stapler , if so which kind of stapler do i need to buy and is there some special technique to make it look neat

You can get those sofa covers available in furnishing shops so it looks neater. Please don't staple them as it will spoilt the cloth material. And stapling doesn't hold the covers in place after some time.

Get and electric stapler and use a cardboard border to staple the fabric to the bottom starting from the center and working out to the corners to avoid wrinkles. Corners are a staple in the middle and then fold one side over and then the other side over technique.
