This song is played by bands in the crowd.It was featured in a TV advert for Egyptian holidays in recent years.
I think Dutch supporters play it a lot,but I could be wrong on that.
Please help,its driving me nuts!!!!!!!

I think it is the triumphal march from Verdi's Aida you mean - that is certainly used by the Egyptian tourist ads.

I think it is the end bit from "Aida" by Verdi which was written for the opening of the Suez canal (a long time ago)
used to have it on a cassette and I have it on a CD but I don't know where it is now, Sorry

'I vow to thee my country' gets a lot of airplay as does 'Nessun Dorma'. All the countries competing play their national anthems - the UK also plays 'Land of hope and glory'.

It will depend heavily on which TV channel you are watching (and from which country it's from).
