I will tell you why i like him. I don't just like him because of his looks, though they are a plus, he is really an amazing actor. him and tim burton make such a great team and i love the movies they do together. they are brilliant! plus he is really down to earth from what i can tell from interviews. i don't know if you ever heard of 21 jump street? anyway it was a show that he did and it turned him into this teen icon kind of actor and thats not what he wanted...so he started doing movies like cry baby and ed wood and benny and joon and all of those box office busts because he didnt' want to be the guy that all of these girls were inlove with. when he finally settled down with Vanessa and had kids he grew up a lot and just became a great father and husband. do you know how he got the role as jack sparrow? we wanted to do a movie that his kids could watch and so he went to disney and asked if there were any openings in a movie that his kids could watch. the guy said "ya we are doing a pirates movie, interested?" and johnnys like "like with real swords and sword fighting?" and the guys like "ya" and johnny said "IM IN" lol..hes just a simple guy, who ya has an awesome career, but at the end of the day he goes home to his kids and wife and has a normal evening. he lives a normal life besides the acting and he intends to keep it that way...so thats my really long answer on why i like him, and theres more but i don't want to bore you..lol..hope this helps answer your question a little more..

Johnny Depp is the epitome of coool.....That guy is a great actor.
He can play anything. And he's convincing. Plus he's CUTE!!!!
He used to own "The Viper Room" in Los Angeles, and had the
best bands and the cooolest people in there. He lives in France
now. What can I say ? I love em...

Because he used to be one of the bad guys and girls like bad guys, but he he is a good guy now , married with two children who he loves more than anything, he is incredibly sexy and he hasn't changed in years (look at some old and new pictures) and probably because he is a very down to earth person and he doesn't consider himself a star or the greatest actor, in other words he is not a tipical Hollywood guy.He is just a normal guy and quite shy(I know is shocking).

He is the only Hollywood actor that could bring Jack Sparrow's character alive!
He exudes a sense of secrecy, and no one really knows everything about him.
He brings every character to life, from Scissorhands to Blow to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Pirates of the Carribean!
I mean, just get someone else.. maybe even Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt... you think they can do that?

I have a really creepy collage of him I made in high school.
He has a perfect face. I don't even care if he put on a few... he's hot.
Every single cool actress he's been with has fallen in love with him and called him the love of their lives as well... kind of a big hint there that he must be amazing also.

He's great looking (those cheekbones!), he's a great actor who can turn his hand to diverse roles( unlike some others), he adores his partner and kids. What else could you want in a man?

Although he appears in all sorts of werid characters in his movies, he CAN act.
He's better than actors that boast of their sexual appeal or handsome faces but can't act. eg includes bloom...
And yes, his acting contribute to his sexiness and therefore make him so hot and attractive to the girls(most).
