I am thinking of emmigrating to New Zealand from South Africa. What proceedures do I need to follow to bring my horse with? Does New Zealand allow horses from Africa?
Anyone know how long the quarintine period is?

You would have to contact the governing body for importing animals to New Zealand. I don't see why they wouldn't allow horses from Africa. I know from exporting horses from Canada to Ireland the quarantine was 30 days.

Some websites to look at.
