I've always liked Tama the best.
As second best, I'd say Drum Workshop (DW).
EDIT: I just had to mention that Tama goes best with Paiste cymbals.

Tama is the best.
Next comes Pearl..... then comes DW.Then Ludwig. But no matter which Brand of Drums u go for U should always go for Zildjian Cymbals n Hats :)

I love my Ludwig set and Zildjian cymbals, wouldn't give them up for the world

im a guitar dude but I think tama or peal are considered pretty good.DW are also good but expensive
