Really doubt that the U.S. was involved. Bush and the administration are trying to make as many allies as possible over in the Middle East (even though they are doing a terrible job of it so far). If I had to guess, it was someone trying to assert their authority and power among the political elite in India since Gandhi's relative has now recently gotten political power and become one of the most powerful women leaders of any country in the world.

I would not rule out the possibility. As part of its global TerrorStorm scheme, US Administration could blow up the Vatican even. With the help of allies and the West and Nazi Israel, US is succefully creating this atmosphere of terror, constant fear, choas and mayhem, in order to control the world. The world is so insecure, give up your liberty and we will give security, US politicians seem to say. Instead, they are giving their people tyranny. The once free and proud nations of the West have been turned into rats in a maze

I enjoyed President Bush lifting a large water-melon while in India. It was a clear message of love for Indian people. I think you have a dream. Please wake up.
