It sounds like she is very troubled, right now it sounds like she's seeking attention but the unfortunate part is if she doesn't get the help she needs she will eventually succeed in suicide. You have to call someone to get her the help she needs or you will always feel guilty for not getting her help (If she died that is ) Greif with guilt is not something you want to live with and by telling someone what she is doing you are being the best friend she could ever have even if she never speaks to you again TRUST me because I was her when my mother and son were killed beside me!

is she just cutting or is she trying to kill herself? I used to cut and I think the thing that helped me the most was to know that there was someone there that cared enough to ask me to stop. Come up with a written contract, saying that b4 she cuts she will call you or someone else who cares and understands so they can discuss why she feels that way and other options, then help her get out of the rut she is in.

You are a really great friend!!!!!!!! Just be there for her. Show her you care. Which you done already by asking! Hope i've helped

If you truly care about your friend, please get her help. You can go to the school counselor, a preacher, an adult relative of hers or yours, that you can trust. Last but not least, tell her parents. Yes they will be upset. They love her and will be worried about her. Your friend may feel like you betrayed her, but that will only last for awhile. She will eventually thank you and know that you are truly her friend. She is hurting on the inside, emotionally, about something in her life past or present. She is having a difficult time in dealing with it and figures she would rather feel the pain in her wrist then to feel the pain inside. Please get her help. Trust me on this one.

All you can do is to let her in professional hands.... she needs a psychiatrist ASAP... talk to her family, and tell them you're concerned about her, and tell them to seek professional help for her (even you call the psychiatrist by yourself if neccesary)... and stand by her, don't get too involved tough

Look sweetie it's like this tell or she will end up killing herself. Tell the school counselor and ask her to keep your name out of it.
People who do that need help,in fact that act is a cry for help.
Even if she did find out you told wouldn't you rather have her alive and pissed off rather than dead but happy you kept her secret.
PLEASE TELL NOW!!!!

She is beyond anything you can do. She needs counciling, and probably therapy. In my medical practice, this usually meant an effort to get attention...tell her mother and get her help...NOW

Just talk to her. If there's no way to get her in counseling, let her talk to you.
