Is there a vacuum modulator in my Infiniti G20 1994? and where can I locate it?

I heard that if my car shifts with a bang, it's possible that it's the vacuum modulator that's gone bad, and i want to try to replace it to see if it will get better.

No, that vehicle should have an electronically controlled transmission. A vacuum modulator is for earlier vacuum shift control transmissions.
