Look dear in this world lot of people will say a lot of things but in your own life u have to make your own decisions let not others influence have an effect on what you decide. If you feel that you are more secured with him then you can go ahead. It is not looks that matters it is character, responsibility, honesty, security, love&care that counts.

You don't have a problem, your friends do. They're not the one he asked out, you are. Accept his invitation, meet someone new. Do you think it's a piece of cake for a young man to walk up to a girl and ask her out? He put thought and effort into it and you should feel flattered and accept. Besides, who wants to just hang out with their girlfriends all the time?

don't let your friends pressure you girl! if you really want to go out with that boy, then go ahead, but if you don't, then don't, but the decision should come from you and not from your friends. and once you've decided on your course of action, your friends should respect that if they're really your friends.
as for the ugly bit, beats me. but i suppose that guy deserves a chance. get to know him first. by then you will know him better, and will avoid relying on judgements only based on what is superficial.

First question is, do you like him? If the answer's yes and you want to go out with him, then do it! Don't worry about what your friends think or say. I know peer pressure is a heavy burden, but if you really like him then you need to do what feels right to you.
Of course, if you still want to keep your friends, then just do what you want and tell them that's what you plan to do. They don't have to like it, but it is your decision. Looks aren't everything, you know. If he's not the best looking boy around but you like him, then go for it.

It shouldnt matter if he's cute or ugly. Do you like his personality? Do you think that he's a good guy? Yeah its good to have your friends around for advice, but you cant always take advice from them. If he makes you laugh and feel good, Go For It.

Your right. Follow the advice of your friends for the rest of your life.
It is much easier than making decisions that effect you. Then you can always blame your friends if something goes wrong.
Just say no to the guy. Wait until your friends find a guy that they approve of.
