Well, their not on the beautiful side, but aloe plants live forever!!And hey, you get a 2 for one deal with them!! Keep it in the kitchen and you have your burn medicine! JUst don't over water them. They don't like that.
Heres a "different" one. My daughter loves this especially, she has her own. You use a flatter, less deep container, thats long. Ashley has 3 long metal tins for hers. Buy a small bag of the grass seed for shady spots. Make sure you container can drain, fill 3/4 way with your soil, sprinkle the grass seed, pretty thick across the top, kinda loosen it alittle with a fork, but not much, but also make sure the seeds aretouching the soil. You don't have to really bury them. Then give it a good watering. If you use the shade grass seed, you don't have to worry about sunlight at all, but if you get a bag of the repair spots grass seed, I would put it in the sun for alitle while each day,, just not alot of bright too warm light. It'll start growing good by the 2nd day, and then it goes crazy!! Its neat because you can trim it to whatever height you want! You will have to trim it,,,just like your yard!! always, My daughter loves hers! She acts like shes a beautician!! And hey, if you cut it and it looks a mess, it'll grow back in a couple days!! Oh yea, make sure you had soil with the fertilizer in it,, or spray or add alittle of your own on there., It definitely helps!! The grass will be a brighter green!!! Try it out! Wait till you see reactions on peoples faces when they notice that its plan ole grass! Bet they go home and do it too!!!! ;)

relies upon on what your attempting for...if that's for showing a baby how a plant grows, then a bean is a large seed on the interior a pitcher (plastic) cup is giant. in the different case, in a veggie backyard, radishes boost rapidly, as do zucchini and tomatoes. All has to do with the climatic circumstances. Lettuce is hardy also. relies upon on what area you stay in too. examine some community gardening shops that can help you you and do not hearken to the persons telling you to boost marijuana - that is unlawful!

Herbs! Herbs smells fabulous and some like basil, are easy to grow from seeds... Germination does not take too long... and you can use it for cooking too! Rosemary is easy too. Just plunge a stick of it into the soil upright.. water it regulary, it should do... water in the morning and in the evening. Never water the plant at the hottest period of the day.
Good luck!

I always used to kill plants until I go tan Ivy. You can just put a long piece of it snipped form some-one elses in a jar or vase of water and it will grow liek crazy! Adn you don't have to water it! I always overwatered/underwatered platnts that were planted in dirt. This was a good way to use my many empty vases too! Set it in indirect sunlight.

Ivys are pretty forgiving and they can be grown in a hanging basket. Spider plants are very forgiving and look good in a hanging basket. I was going to say "Mother-In-Law" plant and someone else beat me to it. I disagree about venue fly-traps, I think they are very hard to keep alive. Also cacti can be easily overwatered and can develop pest problems, but these can be solved with a good systemic poison (one you scratch into the dirt and then water it in). Christmas cacti are very good as long as you don't over-water them. Once a week is plenty.

It would have to be a "phildendrum" (sp)
Place it over the sink, or in the bathroom and it will never die.
To grow more cut a leak, or stem and place it in the sun with good organic soil and grow more. Another is the "Zebra" plant. It will not die unless you give it too much water. "Mother-in law" tongues will live forever. I.e. snake plant.

Well, I personally love cacti and succulents. They are impossible to kill, and come in an array of styles, but I prefer the ones that flower. It is not usually a great idea to keep them inside, though, unless you have a really sunny window.
