Sure, it's taboo, but I think most people do it.

I ain't got no shame in it! It feels good, doesn't hurt anyone.
Also, I find it quite interesting that the finger fits nicely into the nostril. Seems like God's telling us to pick on!

I try to avoid it when I can, but my wife has no shame whatsoever about digging for nuggets in front of me or even in public sometimes. She likes to pull 'em out, study them like fossils, then either wipe or drop them in the carpeting or wherever. DISGUSTING! Good thing she and has so many other redeeming qualities!

my neigbor DOESN'T pick his nose. his mom does it for him since birth....
he has no upper extremities....
